Mandla Nkambule, who led the Thatha Zonke anti-crime unit, was shot and killed on Wednesday.The leader of an anti-crime organisation in Ekurhuleni has been shot dead.Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo said at around 17:30,"the victim was driving in Katlehong when he was shot at by suspects who were driving parallel to him."Photos of the scene, which News24 has seen, show at least a dozen rounds were fired at the driver's side of the vehicle.
