Categories like “Mr. Congeniality,” “Mr. Internet Popularity,” “Best Physique,” “Best Model,” “Mr. Charming Smile,” and “People’s Choice” were also a deciding factor. Of crowning the country in the tenth spot, the survey stated: “South African men could get the ‘Best Physique’ title not only in the Mister Global contest but in real life as well. Victory in the oldest male beauty contest, Manhunt International, went to this country in 1995.”Meanwhile, former Mr South Africa winner Ntando Lurwengu will be participating in the Mr Universe pageant in the US in September.
