A teenager who cracked an egg on Senator Fraser Anning's head last month has avoided criminal charges over the incident.Senator Anning, 69, has also avoided charges for subsequently striking the boy."On assessment of all the circumstances, the 69-year-old's actions were treated as self defence and there was no reasonable prospect of conviction," police said in a statement.
The incident followed remarks from the senator blaming Muslim migrants for the New Zealand terror attack in which a white supremacist killed 50 worshippers at Mosques.AAP"I understand what I did was not the right thing to do. I can understand why some people would react the way they did," he said."There is no reason to physically attack anyone."
