The appointment of Economic Freedom Fighters’s (EFF) Obakeng Ramabodu as the new member of mayoral committee for Environmental Affairs and Agriculture at the City of Tshwane has been denounced by the Freedom Front Plus over his last racist remarks.
Obakeng Ramabodu’s recent appointment as the MMC for Environmental and Agriculture Management at the City of Tshwane, has sparked concerns from the Freedom Front Plus due to his last hate speech and racism statements.
The remarks were made after Tshwane Metro Council descended into chaos after votes to remove Cilliers Brink as Mayor were insufficient.“Ramabodu is not only blatantly racist during council meetings, but he also frequently expresses his hatred for white people, especially Afrikaners.” “It is absolutely unacceptable to allow someone who is openly hostile towards a large part of the community to hold a leadership office in the Metro,” said Theunissen.
