EFF opposes GNU, says it will not budge on land, free education, emancipation of black people

As negotiations to form a government of national unity begin, the EFF has categorically said it will not share a table with parties who benefitted from apartheid, such as the DA and FF Plus.

Addressing the media on Friday, EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu said the party rejects the ANC's decision to form a GNU. "We are not going to form part of any government with the DA. We are not going to sit alongside the DA and the FF Plus in government as the EFF.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
