Edmonton gondola route could disturb historic burial grounds, land sacred to Indigenous peoples yeg
A council committee is set to review a conditional agreement with Prairie Sky Gondola Wednesday morning to lease and licence public land for about $1.125 million annually for 30 years, and up to 90 years. The approximate 2.5-kilometre route would run from Downtown to Old Strathcona with five stations.

PSG CEO Jeffrey Hansen-Carlson declined an interview request. Instead, he sent a statement saying that Indigenous elders and leaders would speak as part of the delegation to council on Wednesday.
