He recently baffled gun control advocates by declaring after a speech: “God save the Queen.” No one was quite sure which Queen he was referring to and apparently they were too polite to ask. It’s all very well for us to laugh at these foibles, but the fact remains Biden is the leader of the free world. His frequent befuddlement signals weakness. His likely Republican rival, Donald Trump, isn’t much younger. At 77, Trump is nipping at Biden’s heels. Both are well past the time when most people call it a day and retire.There are rumours Michelle Obama is poised to take Biden’s place as the Democratic presidential nominee.
