What’s important now is not just dealing with the past but also to find ways to heal and to improve the lives of Indigenous people for the future. We must honour the memory of those lost children in whatever manner the First Nations deem appropriate. But then we should look ahead with optimism.Article content
We must also ask ourselves what true reconciliation will look like. How can we prevent such abuses from happening in the future?
