EXCLUSIVE: Eddie Hearn set to make offer to Devin Haney for Regis Prograis fight
Eddie Hearn has told talkSPORT.com that he intends to make Devin Haney a formal offer for a fight with Regis Prograis later this year.
The British promoter announced last month that he'd signed WBC super-lightweight world champion Prograis.Credit: Melina Pizano/MatchroomHe instantly scheduled a homecoming defence for the champion, which will come against Danielito Zorrilla on June 17 in New Orleans. Hearn previously promoted Haney for three years before the young American utilised free agency to secure an undisputed title shot.
Haney signed a three-fight deal with Bob Arum's Top Rank last year and fought George Kambosos Jr twice, emerging victorious on both occasions with the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO lightweight world titles.
