Ed Sheeran surprised fans with a special guest at his concert just hours after the singer made his own surprise appearance at a Toronto street festival.
The English singer posted about the visit on his Instagram story, telling fans that he’d be coming to the Taste of Little Italy festival on College Street on Sunday afternoon.
Hypitch, the marketing agency that helps runs the festival, posted a video of Sheeran entering the event to the sound of cheers. The singer donned a white T-shirt, baseball cap and sunglasses as he was surrounded by fans. Sheeran also met Canada’s Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, who was at the festival and posted a photo on Twitter of her shaking hands with a smiling Sheeran.Later in the evening, Sheeran would keep the surprises coming when he brought Shawn Mendes on stage as a special guest at his concert at Rogers Centre.
