The plane, which was due to arrive in Agadir in Morocco at 9.25am local time left London at 6.25am on Friday morning but was diverted mid-flight.
An easyjet flight packed with holidaymakers was forced in to an emergency landing after the co-pilot issued a red alert.
The plane diverted to Portugal's Faro airport after leaving London at around 6.30am on Friday, with the pilot reportedly taking ill, and was due to land in Morocco at around 9.25am local time.
