Eastern Cape family still hold out hope amid desperate search for woman missing since December
A search to locate her has not yielded any positive outcomes.The Eastern Cape family of Ongezwa Ngqiqo Rasmeni, who went missing in December, said their hopes of finding her alive had not diminished. Still, they were also prepared for any eventuality.Rasmeni is originally from KwaRasmeni Village in Ngcobo. She worked at a fast-food outlet in Komani. "We still have hope that we can find her alive. It has been a difficult period for us in the family. We have tried all we can to look for her.
"The woman went out with her friend and never came back. Preliminary investigations were done with no success. "Police are appealing to anyone who can shed light on her disappearance to contact Detective Sergeant Zamikhaya Madikane of Komani SAPS on 073 559 7069/045 808 6029, or alternatively our SAPS CrimeStop number 086 001 0111," said Mdleleni, adding that callers can remain anonymous."We have so many questions. I have been constantly asking myself about what really happened to her on that day. It’s been hard for us. We need to know if she’s still alive," he said.
