EastEnders viewers are certain that Cindy Beale's return to Walford may lead to the return of Max Branning on the long-running soap, with a new theory teasing a possible showdown.
EastEnders fans are wondering if a major return may be on the cards for Max Branning, as the Cindy Beale comeback storyline unfolds.
Fans of the show now know that in 1998, Cindy faked her own death and was enrolled into witness protection after informing on her cellmate whilst in prison, reports the Mirror. However, fans are unsure whether Cindy is aware of Lucy's fling with Max Branning and the fact he was not only accused of killing her but was actually framed by the Beales for the heinous crime.He fled Walford after clashing with a number of residents following him going off the rails in 2021.And to make matters more confusing within Walford, Abi is actually the granddaughter of returning character Cindy.
So there's every chance Cindy will want him to pay for the loss of her son. Meanwhile, some viewers think there's another way Cindy could lead to Max's comeback.
