A former EastEnders star has quit the acting world as he takes up a brand new role in a completely different industry.
During the two years that Joel played Jake, he was involved in a number of very high-profile storylines which fans of the show will surely remember to this day. But away from the cameras it is not just Jake who has decided to move on as the actor who plays him has taken on a completely different challenge.His offering to his clients suggests he wants to help people find the best version of themselves.
"I'd love to go up to Corrie for a stint, because I really miss being in a soap. It's like having a proper job," Joel told Inside Soap at the time.
