EastEnders fans were left floored by Cindy Beale's comeback – now a boss from the soap has revealed that more beloved characters will be returning in the 'not too distant future'
EastEnders is to see the return of more beloved characters in the coming months following the successful comeback of Cindy Beale.
Eastenders boss Chris has told the Daily Star: "There will be some characters returning in the not too distant future. They will be announced soon. Watch this space." Viewers were enthralled in June when the soap aired a special episode which revealed that Cindy was living abroad with Ian and son Peter Beale under the name of Rose Knight. During that episode, Ian asked to go back to London after Cindy's witness protection ended, but she insisted that she was happy as things were. However, when son Peter headed back to Albert Square, she decided to follow him.
