Do or die, no tomorrow, leaving it all on the line, the sporting cliches are quite predictable this time of the football calendar when a berth in the Grey Cup…
The Als have Trevor Harris, who got his CFL start as an Argo 10 years ago and backed up Henry Burris when Ottawa won a Grey Cup in 2016.
MBT was a rookie on the Argos’ 2017 Grey Cup team, led by Ricky Ray, but wasn’t asked to do much with Cody Fajardo, nowthe starter in Saskatchewan, as the backup QB. Head coach Ryan Dinwiddie views Sunday as a career legacy game for MBT, on whose shoulders a lot will rest. The polarizing quarterback has yet to play a complete game this season, but te same would apply to entire Argos offence.
He’s a father and there are those within the league who believe MBT might call it a career, no matter how far the Argos into the post-season.
