Mossgiel Organic Farm in Mauchline won in two categories at the Scottish Food & Drink Excellence Awards, beating some well-known household brands.
Mossgiel Organic Farm in Mauchline landed a double as they won Best Overall Product and Best Scottish Dairy Product of the Year for their organic whole milk at the Scottish Food & Drink Excellence Awards.
"Still on a high after this prestigious award, Bryce was almost speechless when it was announced that Mossgiel Organic Farm’s milk, had actually been awarded the Best Scottish Product of 2023, the final award of the evening. "We genuinely went to the ceremony believing that we had zero chance of winning anything. We were set up just to be happy that Mossgiel would be mentioned beside them on a screen but then to receive the news that we had not only won in our category but the ultimate Overall Best Product award for 2023, we were blown away."
Bryce added: "Our family has owned the farm since 1948. We specialise in providing organic milk which uses traditional brewing methods in a modern way to provide our local community with nutritious and natural milk which is not like normal milk. The milk is not coming only from Mossgiel farm either as they work with five small-scale, organic family farms that are supplying milk.
