EA released its rankings for the top offensive and defensive teams in the upcoming College Football 25 to continue rankings week.
Tennessee edge star James Pearce is considered the top defensive player in the nation, but the Vols are nowhere to be found in the rankings for top defensive teams. Could a defense have a 99-rated player on the edge and still not be a Top-25 defense in the game? However, the Buffs’ at No. 20 has to be related to Hunter’s presence as an all-world cornerback. Is it possible Hunter is rated a 99 as a CB and an 87 as a WR? That would seem fair. The Bulldogs’ top-rated player will probably be their QB, Carson Beck, and he could also be the highest-rated QB in the game.
