The Soweto outfit finished managed to avoid automatic relegation and finished in 15th after drawing 2-2 with the AmaKhosi on Saturday afternoon.Swallows will now come up against the University of Pretoria and Cape Town All Stars in mini-tournament, with the winner set to compete in the DStv Premiership next season.

"Now this is going to be a different story because when NFD teams play teams in the PSL it's always a boost for them. Now we have to make sure we do the same performance we did today and take our chances," Kerr told SuperSport after the game. "It's going to be tough, we've got a great team spirit, we've got a great cam [camaraderie], to come to this stadium and play the way we did is credit to the players.

"But at 2-1, we don't deal with a cross field ball, we give a stupid free-kick, whether it's a deflection, whatever, at the end of the day we'll take then play-offs. On that performance, absolutely delighted but we need to score." The first game in the play-offs will see All Stars host AmaTuks at the Athlone Stadium on Sunday, 29 May at 15h00.
