Dying Light 2's new update adds Nightmare mode and buffs guns.
Techland has today released a new update for Dying Light 2 that most prominently adds Nightmare Mode to the game. Earlier this week, Techland announced that it would be gearing up to release Nightmare Mode in DL2 and provided some initial details of what it would have in store. Now, that patch has rolled out and has brought with it a ton of additional overhauls that change Dying Light 2 in some big ways.
As of this moment, update version 1.16 for Dying Light 2 can be downloaded across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Nightmare Mode is by far the biggest new aspect of the patch and brings a much more hardcore experience to players who are looking for a challenge. Beyond this, though, Techland has also made a vast number of tweaks to co-op, cutscenes, and the game's FOV slider.

Google to Delete Billions of Data Records Collected in Incognito ModeGoogle has agreed to delete “billions of data records” the company collected while users browsed the web using Incognito mode, according to documents filed in federal court in San Francisco on Monday. The agreement, part of a settlement in a class action lawsuit filed in 2020, caps off years of disclosures about Google’s practices that shed light on how much data the tech giant siphons from its users—even when they’re in private-browsing mode. Under the terms of the settlement, Google must further update the Incognito mode “splash page” that appears anytime you open an Incognito mode Chrome window after previously updating it in January. The Incognito splash page will explicitly state that Google collects data from third-party websites “regardless of which browsing or browser mode you use,” and stipulate that “third-party sites and apps that integrate our services may still share information with Google,” among other changes

The eyes switch from using cone cells in bright light to relying on rod cells in low light, resulting in a change in color perception.
