The £150 disability cost of living payment is also due to be made from this week
The Department for Work and Pensions has issued updated guidance on State Pension, Tax Credits and benefit payments scheduled to be made in the two days immediately after the bank holiday for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
DWP said: “People due payments and credits on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 September will also be paid as normal, but throughout the day of their expected payment date. There is no need to call us to check, as payments will be made. We advise people to check their accounts later in the day.” DWP has previously said that the payment window is between September 20 and early October, so given the latest advice, these one-off lump sums may not appear in your account first thing but later on in the day.
