Durban man accused of killing pro-Palestinian mom deemed fit for trial
Grayson Beare , 44, has been declared fit to stand trial after he allegedly killed a Durban mom of two over her support for Palestine.
The Durban Magistrate's Court has heard that murder-accused Grayson Beare is fit to stand trial after his case was adjourned last week for the accused to undergo a mental assessment. Beare, 44, allegedly stabbed 46-year-old Halima Hoosen-Preston 15 times at her home in the Durban central suburb of Glenwood in the early hours of Sunday, 2 June.
In a video clip that went viral on social media, Beare was seen seemingly confirming that he killed the mother of two because of her support for Palestine.
