Arrows handed Sazi Gumbi his first alongside a recall for Saziso Magawana while Chippa made wholesale changes, with a new attack of Etiosa Ighodaro and Siphelele Luthuli as strikers, flanked by Sergio Kammies and Shaquille Abrahams.
Abafana Bes'thende gained momentum and Sibiya doubled their lead five minutes later with a clinical strike from the penalty spot after Justice Chabalala pushed down Knox Mutizwa in the box. The game opened from end to end and the visitors reduced the deficit to 3-2 six minutes later after Ronald Pfumbidzai capitalized on another rebound with clinical strike after Gumede could not hold onto a header by Ighodaro.
