SuperSport made two changes from the 1-1 draw against TS Galaxy, as Selaelo Rasebotja and Siyabonga Nhlapo were both recalled while Arrows were unchanged from the win over Kaizer Chiefs, as Knox Mutizwa and Pule Mmodi led the attack.
Abafana Bes'thende were also asking questions upfront and they got a penalty too in the 21st minute after Sifiso Ngobeni fouled Mmodi in the box and Nduduzo Sibiya levelled matters with powerful shot. SuperSport were losing their discipline, as Rayners was also red-carded for a dangerous challenge on Nelson Ndlovu after an aerial battle.
