DStv Prem season conclusion now hanging in doubt
Mamelodi Sundowns’ congested fixture schedule has forced the PSL to move two games with another five hanging heading into the last eight weeks of the season.READ | R22,8 million at stake for SundownsThis is to allow Sundowns to prepare for the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Yanga to be played under the lights at Loftus Versfeld on April 5 .
The PSL has also provisionally kept the weekends of April 19/20 and April 26/27 without domestic fixtures for The Brazilians in anticipation of that they will play in the semi-finals of the Champions League on those dates. April 23 falls in between the first and second legs of the Champions League semifinals to be played against either ASEC Mimosa or Esperance if they go through.
There will still be five league games to play for Sundowns by then and how they will be fitted into the programme remains hanging.
