Localised short-duration thundery showers are forecast on some afternoons, particularly in the final week of March, the agency said in a media statement on Friday . The total rainfall for the remainder of the month is expected to be below average over most of Singapore.In its review of the weather condition for the first half of March, MSS said that thundery showers fell over parts of the island on most afternoons.“Most parts of Singapore recorded above average rainfall in the first fortnight of March 2024," it added.
“Changi registered rainfall of 135 per cent above average, and Mandai registered rainfall of 34 per cent below average,” the agency said.
