A Beachwood girl, 14, was arrested for stealing merchandise totaling more than $600 from a mall store.At 5:45 p.m. July 20, a man called police to report that he had an argument with his wife and that she had driven away from the home. The man said he was concerned about her.

She said her husband threatened to kill her before she left the home. That day, she found in the house three empty vodka bottles. When not drinking, she said, he is a nice person. As an officer drove the man to the police station after his arrest for domestic violence, the man told the officer, “If I get the chance I’ll stab you.”Suspicion: Shaker Boulevard

The unknown person then threatened to send the nude photos to people on the boy’s contact list if he did not purchase gift cards and send the suspect the numbers on the cards. The suspect also sent the boy his contact list as proof that the suspect had such information. Loss prevention found on the girl’s person $126 worth of stolen goods. A police officer asked the girl if she had any other stolen items on her person and the girl answered that she did not.Police charged the girl with theft. She was picked up at the police station by her father.At 9:45 p.m. July 18, an officer was stopped on Halburton Road and South Green roads when he heard a loud crash. The officer then saw that the noise came from a car traveling north on South Green.

Police charged the woman with OVI, refusing to take a breath test with a prior OVI conviction on her record, not driving within marked lanes, driving an unsafe vehicle, failure to restrain a child, failure to reinstate her license, and two charges of child endangering.At 1:45 a.m. July 21, an officer was driving out of a private drive on Chagrin Boulevard when he saw a Cadillac SUV drive through a red light at Chagrin and Richmond Road.
