A drug-fuelled driver who killed two young West Lothian men after driving at speeds of up to 111mph is being sued for compensation.

In January, Hanlon was jailed for almost 10 years at the High Court in Glasgow after pleading guilty to causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving. A spokesman for Digby Brown, who is representing them said: “I can confirm a legal action has been raised against Hanlon. Previously, the court was told how unemployed Hanlon, from Bathgate, had been driving his passengers to one of the men’s homes.
