A driver who fatally struck a pedestrian in Aurora Friday night was struck and killed by a different vehicle after getting outside his car to render aid
The crashes occurred around 7:50 p.m. outside Children’s Hospital Colorado near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and North Uvalda Street.
The driver of the Mitsubishi immediately pulled over to render aid when he too was struck by a second vehicle, a Mercury Mountaineer SUV, according to police. The driver of the Mountaineer stayed on the scene and no injuries were reported from inside that vehicle.
