On Aug. 27 at 10:30 p.m. an officer stopped a driver for a traffic violation and found the registered owner of the car to have a warrant for his arrest for a drug offense.
Probable cause was found to search the car and a substance, believed to be narcotics, as well as drug paraphernalia was seized. The driver, a 47-year-old Elyria man was arrested on his warrant and turned over to Olmsted Twp. Police Department. A 39-year-old North Ridgeville woman, who was a passenger, was arrested on a warrant and turned over to Parma Heights Police Department.
