15-year-old driver suffered life-threatening injuries, while his 16-year-old male passenger sustained minor injuries in the accident.
A 15-year-old driver and his 16-year-old passenger were sent to hospital Thursday morning following a single-vehicle collision in South Surrey.Surrey RCMP say a BMW SUV crashed into a tree and caught on fire.Police say the 15-year-old driver suffered life-threatening injuries, while his male passenger sustained minor injuries in the accident.Surrey RCMP say although the investigation is its early stages, they believe speed was a contributing factor.
