The latest accessory to a Vera Wang dress: a Vera Wang cocktail. The legendary designer has teamed up with Chopin to create the limited release Vera Wang x Chopin Vodka. Vera Wang added her fashion sense to design a special matte black and white bottle, complete with her 'ode to vodka' on the back.
I can't do anything unless I have a certain degree of control. In this case control meant participation and learning. Understanding the different varieties of potatoes is fascinating. The smaller potatoes are more flavorful. The ones we use for our vodka always have a red dot. Like grapes it's about the soil, the water and how they are harvested. I'm very proud of that. It's a classic Chopin bottle, but we added the Vera Wang version.
For years it was vodka on the rocks with a splash of orange juice — a modified screwdriver. Every restaurant that I frequented knew that was my drink. Then a few years ago when I started trying other things, like a Lychee Martini or an Espresso Martini. Over the summer I was doing muddled Orange Martinis. When I met Tad Dorda he taught me about drinking vodka pure. I adore that. I enjoy all cuisines: Indian, Mexican, French, Italian. Love Japanese, but also hot dogs and hamburgers.
