The Nigerian-born MMA star then took a break from the sport but given his beef with Du Plessis he was always likely to end that break if there was a chance he could settle that score.Adesanya dropped confirmation of the fight on his social media this week, revealing that he will face Du Plessis at UFC 305 which is scheduled to take place in Perth, Australia.
“That’s what I want to do. I’m excited to come back, but everything comes at it’s own time. So, right now it’s training, chilling, working, relaxing, healing. Then when it’s time, it’s time for killing.”
