Deer Lake Park’s festival lawn will be awash in the surreal-synth songs of indie-pop artist Mitski.
You have until Wednesday to get tickets to what’s sure to be one of the dreamiest concerts of the year – Mitski is coming to Deer Lake Park on Aug. 10.
The pop artist is on her summer tour with a new album, Laurel Hell, full of songs with melancholic low beats, romantic lyrics and a generous helping of ‘80s synth sounds. Guest band Hurray for the Riff Raff from New Orleans will open the show, singing chill yet passionate indie folk. Grab a bite of food, with on-site vendors like Dim Sum Express, TNT Wraps, La Bomba Taqueria, Rocky Point Ice Cream and more.
Lawn chairs aren’t allowed at Deer Lake Park, but feel free to pull up a blanket or legless camping chair at this lawn-seating-style concert.Cost: $69.25, tickets available online
