Reports say the Bafana Bafana star has not travelled to the Ivory Coast.After a terrible team performance in the 0-0 draw with Eswatini last Friday, Bafana Bafana have a few days left before Tuesday’s friendly game in Ivory Coast against the Elephants.According to reports, Pirates’ Lepasa went home as his Bafana teammates took a flight to Abidjan on Saturday morning.
“Bafana leaves for Abidjan on Saturday morning for their high-profile friendly match with star-studded Ivory Coast at the cauldron of the Félix Houphouët-Boigny which is expected to be a full house on Tuesday,”“When the team left their Johannesburg hotel for the airport on Saturday morning, Lepasa went home and the exact details of his shock withdrawal from the national team are not clear,” Mphahlele added.
According to whispered rumours, Lepasa lost his cool after Broos had strong words with the Soweto-born attacker during and after the Eswatini game.
