Inaugural conference will promote economic development in Sudbury
A special economic development conference to bring together entrepreneurs and investors is to be held in Sudbury in September and will feature well-known Canadian entrepreneur and Dragon's Den television personality Manjit Minhas as a keynote speaker.
The event is being hosted jointly by the Greater Sudbury Development Corporation and Northern Ontario Angels, which is a pan-Northern non-profit group dedicated to creating partnerships between entrepreneurs and investors. “Greater Sudbury is a community that embraces diversity, innovation and entrepreneurship and we continue to foster a robust entrepreneurship ecosystem,” said Lisa Demmer, Board Chair of the Greater Sudbury Development Corporation.
