Warning: spoilers for Dragon Ball Super #95!Dragon Ball, as an overarching franchise, is considered to be one of the greatest and most influential manga and anime of all time, falling just outside the “Big Three” of Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece as what can arguably be called the “grandfather” of these iconic series. And now, in the latest chapter of Dragon Ball Super, one of Dragon Ball’s original Z-Fighters is revealed to be a huge fan of Monkey D.

Roger, One Piece is a long-running series that, according to its creator, Eiichiro Oda, still has a ways to go before finally calling it quits.
Clearly a reference to the One Piece franchise, this fun Easter egg apparel might seem like a throwaway gag to please readers, but in reality, is something that meshes well with Krillin’s penchant for reading and collecting risqué magazines, just at a much more innocent level.
Dragon Ball and One Piece Have Crossed Over Before So while it’s fun to see Krillin’s love for another hugely popular series become canon, this isn’t the first time these worlds have collided, as a One Piece episode from a decade ago brought Goku, Luffy, and the heroes of Toriko together to fight in a tournament with a fabled slab of meat called the Carat Sizzled Cattle on the line.
