‘With really little, it’s hard to tell what effect the pandemic may have had on them because they’re not as integrated into the wider world,’ he explains. ‘But it can have a knock-on effect on them.
Femi then thinks about all her friends and their superpowers: humour, kindness and imagination, and how they can use their qualities to improve the world around them. Lead character Femi is Black and uses a wheelchair, while we see other characters of various backgrounds, cultures and abilities.
