Dr Alex George shares heart-wrenching tribute to brother on World Suicide Prevention Day
Former Love Island star Dr Alex George made an emotional tribute to his brother Llŷr, who tragically died by suicide in July 2020, to mark World Suicide Prevention Day on Saturday.
Alongside the clip he penned: "Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. I'm sat here watching this video, wondering how this ever could have come to pass. Why are you gone? Will I ever see you again? Did I miss an opportunity to save you?" Alex penned underneath the video. "Please don't become a memory to your loved ones. The fact 'A Better Day' is being published next week is no accident. Prevention is key, arm young people with the tools. Knowledge and most importantly the words they need.
The former A and E doctor was also appointed a Youth Mental Health Ambassador by former Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.
