Tlhopane, the eldest son of Sundowns owner Patrice Motsepe, stepped up as his proxy at the club after his mining mogul father contested for CAF Presidency last year.
The next CAF Presidency elections are set to take place in 2025 and there's still a lot that can happen before then, as different lobbying groups are likely to present other candidates to run against Motsepe. The 33-year old also recently made a crucial decision to do away with the co-coaching arrangement after the management of the club was not happy with the performance of the team.
