Whether she is appearing in a floor length gold Jenny Packham gown for a glittering film premiere or a simple wax jacket to collect pizza during an engagement, Kate has her public image down to a tee.
Former Vogue International editor Suzy Menkes, 79, accused the Princess of appearing indifferent to the rare collection of jewels she has at her disposal and said she doesn't have the same "joy" about jewels as her stepmother-in-law, Queen Camilla. "I imagine her looking beautiful in one of those gowns behind the scenes and then pulling a face as if to say, “'Do I have to wear this?' She doesn’t give any sense of adoring jewellery and being pleased to put it on."
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond couldn't disagree with Suzy more as she told OK! "Thank goodness that we have a thoroughly down-to-earth Princess who can rock the High Street look and the budget jewellery with such style! Catherine is a woman after my own heart.
