Double murder-suicide leaves two women, one man dead in Lakeside [Breaking]
Two women and a man were found fatally shot in a Lakeside mobile home after an apparent double murder-suicide Friday night, sheriff’s officials said.
The incident was reported at the Ridgecrest Community mobile home park for seniors on the Interstate 8 Business Loop near Los Coches Road. When deputies arrived, they learned a man might have shot a woman during an argument, sheriff’s homicide Lt. Chris Steffen said. A SWAT team entered the home and found the three victims, all in their late 50s, the lieutenant said. The two women were sisters, and the man was dating one of the women — none were identified.Investigators believe the man fatally shot both women before turning the gun on himself, Steffen said. It is unclear what led to the killings. There were several witnesses, including children, in the home when the altercation occurred, the lieutenant told OnScene TV.
