Melania Trump wasn't at her husband Donald Trump's side as he was criminally charged in a New York court recently.
Earlier this week Donald Trump delivered his first speech since becoming the first former US president to face criminal charges. He was charged in Manhattan Criminal Court on 34 counts of falsifying business records. This includes that he allegedly paid hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels just before the 2016 election to prevent her from revealing they'd had sex a decade earlier.
He sang the praises of Donald Jr , Ivanka and Eric from his marriage to Ivana Trump and daughter Tiffany with ex-wife Marla Maples and youngest son Barron with Melania.“I have a son here who’s done a great job and I have another son here who’s done a great job, and Tiffany and Ivanka. And Barron will be great someday. He’s tall and smart. But I have a great family and they've done a fantastic job and we appreciate it very much,” he said.
According to sources, the former first lady is still angry about her husband's alleged affair with a former porn star but will always support him. “She feels happy being at Mar-a-Lago, surrounded by people who love her and who never talk about reality, or bad things about her husband,” an insider says.
