Liverpool were left fuming after a controversial decision in their 1-1 Premier League draw with Manchester City, with Jeremy Doku's last-minute challenge not given as a penalty.
Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku has spoken out about his controversial chest-high challenge on Liverpool's Alexis Mac Allister during this month's Premier League clash, insisting it "wasn't a penalty" - but admitting "it was risky".
However, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and many pundits believed it was "100 per cent a foul". Was I worried? For a moment when they were looking at the VAR and maybe looking for a penalty. For me it wasn't a penalty, but I understand why some people are angry and why the Liverpool fans believe it was a penalty."
