However, he also said that a few areas are still recording a high number of active COVID-19 infections but the trend of their cases is decreasing. “We are averaging about 600 cases per day, so essentially we have reversed the Delta surge already in the NCR . We are back to where we were before the surge in July,” David said.
“For the entire country, we are actually back in… it’s like we reversed back to March of this year in terms of the cases, but for NCR, we reversed it back to around June or July,” he added.
