DOH: Active cases sa NCR posibleng pumalo ng 30,000 kahit may ECQ COVID19 COVID19Quarantine
MAYNILA—Posibleng tumaas pa rin sa 18,000 hanggang 30,000 ang karagdagang aktibong kaso ng COVID-19 sa National Capital Region, kahit pa magpatupad ng hanggang isang buwang lockdown.

Nitong Biyernes, iniulat ng DOH ang 8,562 bagong kaso; 91 porsyento rito ay mga kaso sa nakalipas na dalawang linggo o naitala mula Hulyo 17 hanggang 30.Sa kabila ng mataas na bilang ng mga tinatamaan ng COVID-19, nilinaw ni Vergeire na wala pa namang ebidensya na Delta variant na nga ang dahilan ng pagkalat ng sakit at hindi pa naman umano huli ang pamahalaan sa pagpapatupad ng lockdown.
