Puppy Bowl XIX participant Julius gets a workout in preparation for Sunday's game airing on Animal Planet and Discovery+.Puppies will get their day on television networks and streaming platforms ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Ariz.will air simultaneously on Animal Planet, Discovery Channel and TBS, and stream on Discovery+ and HBO Max at 1 p.m. Sunday. A pregame show starts at noon.playing their own version of football on a mock football field flush with toys.
The goal is to get a ball into an end zone, either will do. The real objective is to get every player on the field adopted into forever homes while promoting shelter and foster pet awareness. Viewers will also get to see the pups warm up in the Puppy Bowl Scrimmage, which will be streamed on TikTok. Eleven puppies with special needs are part of the roster. They include Julius, a Dalmatian with hearing loss; Mykonos, an American Staffordshire terrier/bulldog with a cleft palate; and Marmalade, a border collie/Australian cattle dog with sight and hearing impairments.
