It's not just Lancs' beaches that are suffering
A total of 48 beaches in Spain have been issued with a 'black flag' which includes chemical spills, dog poo and invasive developments.
Of the black flags handed out, 12 were for chemical spills, faulty sanitation and purification problems. A total of six were for chemical, light or noise pollution.. Some of the issues highlighted in the report are caused by over development of land and poor management by authorities, according to the report, reports The Mirror.
At the top of the list is Os Frades breach which is nestled in the hills of the Baiona coastline. The beach, although very small, is known for its crystal-clear waters and picturesque views.
