GEORGE TOWN – Three men in Malaysia have been arrested for allegedly bludgeoning a dog to death after it was run over by a motorcycle.
“The suspects – a cargo agent, fisherman and bus driver – are on remand for three days until Wednesday for further investigation. All three suspects do not have criminal records and tested negative for drugs,” he said in a statement on Monday. Mr Khaw said police will take strict action against those who abuse or beat animals without a reasonable cause.It was reported that a black mongrel was bludgeoned to death after getting run over by a motorcycle.
One video shows two men, one wielding a wooden club and the other a long staff, hitting and stabbing the mongrel.At the end of one clip, a man is heard saying loudly in Malay: “Jangan rakam oi! .”
