Hours after surveillance footage shows a dog being dropped off overnight, a canine fitting the same description is found badly injured in the middle of a nearby road.

Hours later, a dog fitting the same description is found badly injured in the middle of a nearby road. According to Gercke, the dog was either hit by a car or attacked by coyotes. She says he was picked up by four good samaritans and taken to a local hospital.The dog died before reaching the facility.
